How did man suffer serious head injuries?

Police want the public’s help to work out how a man found in a Bridlington pub cark park sustained serious head injuries.

Paramedics took a 56-year-old man to hospital after they were called to the car park off Stepney Rise in Old Town, at the rear of the Globe pub.

The ambulance service has notified police but how he hurt himself remains a mystery.

Police said the incident took place at around 11.45pm on Thursday, February 26, but their enquiries have not established how the man sustained his injuries.

He has been discharged from hospital after treatment.
