A PUBLIC meeting for local residents about the merger between the trust which controls Bridlington Hospital and York NHS trust will be held on April 24.
Organised by ERYLink (East Riding of Yorkshire Local Involvement Network) the meeting will give residents the chance to ask questions of senior managers at Scarborough and North East Yorkshire Healthcare NHS Trust (SNEY) and York Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (YFT).
As the acquisition of the Scarborough trust by York progresses, chief executives Mike Proctor (SNEY) and Patrick Crowley (YFT) will outline the latest details.
Matthew Groom, Bridlington Hospital Manager, will also be at the meeting to keep residents up to speed with recent improvements at Bridlington Hospital.
Catering staff from Bridlington Hospital will be handing out a taste of the soup, recently introduced at Bridlington and District Hospital, from celebrity chef James Martin’s menu.
After requests from residents, representatives from the Yorkshire Ambulance Service (YAS) and Patient Transport Service (PTS) as well as East Riding of Yorkshire Council’s Adult Social Care Services will attend the second half of the meeting to answer questions on their service levels and issues of concern.
If you would like to attend the meeting, but need transport, contact ERYLINk on 01377 232135 or PAGER on 01262 409020 who may be able to help.
The meeting takes place at The Spa on April 24 at 6.30pm.
