CLIFFE House Nursery children have also been busy collecting harvest gifts to give to the town’s homeless community.

Representatives from the Kingfisher Trust, which supports homeless people in Bridlington, visited the school and gave the children a talk on the work they do in the town.

As part of the event, the youngsters brought in food items which were gathered together in a harvest hamper for the Kingfisher Trust to distribute.

Nursery owner Julie Warkup said: “We really did have a fantastic response from parents.

“The amount of food that was collected was amazing.”
