Grabbed in street

A TEENAGE girl was grabbed by the hair, pulled to the ground and kicked on a Bridlington street.

The 14 year old was walking along St John’s Walk with friends around 3pm on Tuesday when she accidentally knocked the bag of a young woman walking towards her.

According to police the woman became abusive and began shouting in the girl’s face.

The girl pushed her away but was grabbed by the hair and clothes, pulled to the ground and kicked in the leg before the woman walked off.

The suspect is aged between 17 and 19, 5ft tall, of slim build with dyed blonde hair in a short pony tail. She was wearing a bright yellow t-shirt with three quarter length leggings and carrying a black handbag.
