A successful golf day in Bridlington was the latest fund-raising effort by chartered accountants Lloyd Dowson.

It hosted the day at Bridlington Golf Club, inviting players to enjoy 18 holes followed by a meal and presentations.

The company, which has offices in Scarborough and Bridlington, has made Saint Catherine’s Hospice its charity of the year.

The golf day and generous donations from those who attended raised £1,630 for hospice care.

Marketing manager Vanessa Rowbottom (pictured above with hospice fund-raiser Louise Gravestock), said: “We are delighted to show our continued support for the hospice following the generous donations during the golf day. It is a fantastic charity and their dedicated team provide excellent community care.”

Saint Catherine’s fund-raising manager Carolyn Jackson said: “We are delighted with this really generous donation to help us continue our work with patients and families.

“We are very grateful to Lloyd Dowson for all they do to help us.”
