TO help people get over their fears of getting online, Bridlington’s Community Resource Centre is hosting a series of free courses.
Government funded under the UK On Line Centres scheme, the courses are designed to explain how using the internet can benefit them and help them keep in touch with loved ones, save money on bills or find work.
Courses began this week and covered getting started, how to keep in touch, using internet explorer to find information, family history, social networking sites, finding work and saving money.
Courses next week are from Monday to Thursday at the Centre in Victoria Road, Bridlington, with a further series from February 7 to 10 covering health, exercise, exploring the net, even sending an E Card for Valentines Day.
There is no need to book and courses are open to all. For details call in at the Resource Centre or ring 670001..
