Flamborough RNLI rescued three people from a stricken boat which had broken down north of Bridlington.

The lifeboat crew of the Elizabeth Jane Palmer received a call at 5.02pm on Tuesday July 9, reporting that a five and a half metre boat with three people on board had broken down.

On reaching the stricken vessel the volunteer crew fixed a line on board and then towed them back to the Belvedere Launch site at South Shore, Bridlington.

The lifeboat then returned to the station at South Landing at 6.10pm.
