FUN for all the family was on the agenda for Bank Holiday Monday as Flamborough RNLI held their annual fun day.
The event, held at South Landing, featured various stalls selling everything from bric-a-brac, plants, books, cakes, jams and souvenirs.
There were also lots of attractions including maggot racing, hook a duck, a bouncy castle, a fortune teller Madame Flamborina, and lucky lifeboats. A rescue demonstration was also carried out by Flamborough RNLI.
Jane Heaton, Flamborough Lifeboat press officer said the event went really well, despite the weather, and raised £2,974.
“It is slightly down on last year but it was a good total considering we were rained off at 3pm, and the erather forecast kept many away,” Jane said.
