More than 500 people turned out for a fun dog show to raise money for Flamborough Pre-School.
The event, held on Sunday on the village green in Flamborough, saw around 100 dogs compete in 20 different categories – which included prizes for fancy dress, best trick and finding the dog with the saddest eyes.
Although all the proceeds have not yet been counted, it is thought that the event raised around £600 in total for the school.
Refreshments and food were served all day from the WI hall, while stalls and charities set up at the show – which also had a bouncy castle for children.
Bridlington’s Pets at Home store judged the categories, and gave out prizes to the winners.
The Flamborough Pre-School committee thanked were delighted with what they described as “a wonderful occasion” and thanked everyone who went along on the day, and all those who helped out by donating prizes or helping to organise the event.
