CELEBRATIONS took place at one of the final fetes of the summer season with a wide variety of activities to enjoy.

Burton Agnes Hall opened its grounds to over a thousand people on Saturday 1 September and Sunday 2 September, and visitors of all ages attended to enjoy the vintage fairground rides, stalls and many other entertainments.

People could explore the gardens with giant games such as chess and snakes and ladders on offer, along with a children’s corner and treasure hunt in the woodland walk.

Mr Bubbles made an appearance to perform his magic show, and children could learn circus tricks, as well as enjoy a bouncy castle and face painting.

Anna Briggs, marketing and events manager at Burton Agnes Hall, said: “It is just a nice thing to do before children go back to school.

“It’s a bit of fun before they go back and it was a good day all round.”
