Students from Headlands School Peer Mentoring are celebrating their success in achieving the prestigious international ‘Diana Award’.
The Diana award is an award-winning charity that was founded as a legacy to Diana Princess of Wales’ belief that young people have the power to change the world for the better.
Student safety officer and peer mentor leader, Mr Ablitt, said: “I am extraordinarily proud of the peer mentors who work hard and support students every day, whether it be socialising at lunchtime or helping to combat any bullying issues. The Diana award is a great way of rewarding the students for the hard work and time that they put in every day.
The school held an awards evening with MP Sir Greg Knight in attendance where the students received a certificate documenting their success.
