Staff at Headlands School are supporting their GCSE pupils by wearing specially created t-shirts to give them extra motivation.

The teachers have been wearing the t-shirts for the past couple of weeks saying ‘Class of 2015, you will get 8 GCSE’s’.

Mrs Bone, Headteacher “We continue to set our students very ambitious academic targets. Wearing the “Team Headlands” colours visually reminds our students that every member of staff across our whole school community is committed to making sure every student will succeed in their GCSE’s this summer.”

The idea is hoped to encourage the students to revise hard for their exams to enable them to get the best results possible.

Mrs McCann, Support Services “We are all wanting the best for our students and wearing the t-shirts gives them an instant visual reminder that we are all rooting for them in their exams.”
