In the chair for mini bus appeal

A valuable antique chair is to be auctioned to raise money towards a new mini bus for Kings Mill School, Driffield.

The chair is being auctioned by Angilou Genuine French Furniture, of Octon, to help towards the cost of the vehicle.

Angilou is run by husband and wife team Matthew and Hannah Leckonby, who explained: “For those of you who know us, this is a very special cause to us as our son Angus goes to this school due to his verbal dyspraxia and autism.”

The chair is being auctioned through online shopping site eBay.co.uk.

Matthew said: “The chair will start at £195 with a buy it now price of £495. Interested parties can bid on eBay or send bids via email, phone, text, Facebook and our Twitter accounts.”

the chair is an early 20th century French antique armchair in the Louis Philippe Style, which has been carefully restored and reupholstered entirely in Kate Forman ‘Isobella’ linen fabric and finished with double and single piped edging.
