Did you witness Bridlington pub fracas?

POLICE are appealing for witnesses to an assault which happened in the Hilderthorpe pub in Bridlington on Sunday December 2.

A man suffered injuries to his head and a dislocated shoulder following an incident in the pub, on Hilderthorpe Road, between 10pm and 10.30pm.

It is believed that an incident happened close to the toilets in the premises which resulted in the man sustaining his injuries.

Police say the exact circumstances of the incident remain unclear, but a 43-year-old Bridlington man was arrested and has since been released on police bail.

Officers would like to hear from any witnesses who were in the pub at the time, and may have seen the incident which led to the 41-year old-man, also from Bridlington, receiving injuries requiring hospital treatment.
