A young boxer has appeared in court accused of 18 charges of sexual assault against three teenage girls.
Tom Arthur Hebden, 18, made his second appearance at Hull Crown Court charged with engaging in consensual and non-consensual sexual activity with school girls over a two-year period.
Hebden, of West End, Ulrome, near Driffield, faces various charges of a sexual nature.
Hebden wore a grey check suit and grey tie for the 15-minute appearance and was watched by relatives from the public gallery (Friday September 11).
No pleas were entered at this stage.
Defence barrister Paul Genney said he wanted to talk to him as he had just taken instructions in the case and served a defence statement.
Judge Mark Bury adjourned the case until October 9.
He said a trial date had been fixed for January 18.
Hebden walked free on bail on condition he does not contact prosecution witnesses.
