POLICE APPEAL: Man hospitalised after assault

Humberside Police are appealing for information after a 39-year-old man was hospitalised after he said he was suddenly struck on the head which caused him to be knocked to the ground.

The incident happened around 7.50pm on Thursday 16 October on Park Avenue, where the victim sustained a cut to the head and one to his lip, which he received treatment for at Scarborough Hospital.

The man said he cannot remember anything of the attack other than being struck on the head and knocked to the ground.
