Police appeal after teenage girl allegedly assaulted in Bridlington

A teenage girl was allegedly assaulted near the Jobcentre in Bridlington.

At around 2pm on Sunday April 7 a 17-year-old girl was standing close to the Jobcentre on Quay Road when an unknown woman is alleged to have walked up to her, assaulted her and smashed her mobile phone.

A spokesperson for Humberside police said the teen sustained minor injuries to her knees as a result of the incident.

Anyone who may have witnessed what happened has been asked to call Humberside Police on 101 quoting crime reference 1967720.
