Humberside Police are appealing for the public’s help following a spate of burglaries and an attempted break-in in Bridlington.

Three properties in Bridlington were broken into last week and saw a range of valuable goods stolen.

The first took place on Friday 16 January between 8.15 am and 3 pm at a house on Sewerby Road in Bridlington, where offenders damaged a patio door in their attempt to gain entry. Crime Reference 2092235.

A house on High Street was broken into on Sunday 18 January after offenders entered the property by breaking a ground floor window. A gold ring and a gold cameo broach with a gold chain were stolen from the house. Crime Reference 2092386.

The third break-in happened on Monday 19 January between 5pm and 9pm at a house on Brookland Road. The house was entered through an unlocked front door and offenders stole an Xbox, an Xbox game and a Samsung Galaxy tablet. The homeowner was asleep in another room at the time of the burglary but was not woken by the intruder and was unharmed. Crime Reference 2092807.

“KEEP YOUR HOUSE AND CAR KEYS SOMEWHERE SAFE AND HIDDEN WHILE YOU ARE IN BED.”
