Police appeal after assault in Market Place, Bridlington

POLICE have appealed for witnesses to come forward after a man needed hospital treatment for facial injuries following an assault in Market Place, Bridlington

A 37 year old man was in the Pack Horse Inn public house with a number of people, when a verbal row broke.

The argument continued into the street and the man was allegedly physically assaulted by several men and a woman between 8.20pm and 8.40pm on Wednesday May 30.

The alleged victim attended Scarborough General Hospital and received treatment for facial injuries.

Following a number of enquiries police arrested a 30-year old woman, a 32-year old man, a 29-year old man and a 20-year old man in connection with the incident.

They have all been released on bail to a date in July pending further enquiries.
