Motorcycle theft attempt

TWO MEN are said to have tried to steal a motorcycle by pushing it away along a Bridlington road.

It is alleged the pair, a 25-year-old and a 24-year-old who were both on bicycles, went up to the blue Honda motorbike which was parked in Matson Road and began pushing it along.

They were seen by a neighbour and the two fled the scene leaving their bicycles behind which police believe may have been stolen.

It happened around 1.30am on Wednesday February 2.

The two men were later arrested in connection with the incident and have been released on police bail.

Officers investigating the case are asking anyone who may have seen what happened or who has had a bicycle stolen, to contact them on 0845 60 60 222 quoting log 30 of February 2.
