POLICE want to trace possible fraud victims following the arrest of a 37-year-old man in Bridlington.
He was arrested on December 21 last year in connection with a fraud involving members of the public over the previous six weeks.
The man is alleged to have told people he could get luxury goods for them, such as mobile phones and computer games for Christmas.
Police say his victims paid in instalments but received nothing in return.
Their enquiries are ongoing and there is a possibility more people may have been defrauded in this way.
Any members of the public who believe that they could have been the victims of this scam are asked to get in touch with DC Varley, Bridlington CID on 0845 60 60 222, quoting reference number 1804090.
