A MAN who was caught with nearly £1,500 worth of cannabis has been committed to Crown Court for trial.
Richard Paul Vickers, 30, of Promenade, Bridlington, had his car stopped by police in Bridlington at around 8.30pm on December 4 2010.
When officers searched his car, they found nine large bags of a green herbal substance - worth an estimated £1,470 - and between £2,000 and £3,000 in cash. While officers were searching the vehicle, Vickers produced a further four smaller, clear plastic bags of the same substance.
Vickers entered no plea at the short hearing at Bridlington Magistrates Court last week, and Vickers will return on June 29 for committal proceedings.
