A 22-year-old Driffield man died on Sunday after his motorbike was in collision with an Asda delivery van on the B1249, near to Wansford outside the Poplars Farm.
Police are investigating the man’s death, which happened just before 3pm on Sunday.
He was riding a yellow Triumph Daytona motorcycle on the B1249 towards North Frodingham, when it was in collision with an Asda Iveco delivery van travelling in the opposite direction.
A police spokesperson said: “It is believed a burgundy coloured sports car may have also been involved or possibly travelling in the same direction as the motorbike, at the time of the collision.
Police have issued an appeal for witnesses.
“Were you travelling along the B1249 and saw a yellow motorbike or the events leading up to the collision just before 3pm? If so, please ring Humberside Police today on 101, quoting log number 386.
