Boy injured in North Beach stone-throwing

Police are appealing for witnesses after an 11-year-old boy who had a stone thrown at his face left him with a swollen eye and a suspected fractured nose.

The boy was walking up some steps at North Sands on North Beach, where police believe two similarly aged boys threw a stone at him between 1.53pm and 2.16pm on Sunday 12 October.

Police would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident, and anyone with information should contact Humberside Police on 101 quoting Crime Reference Number 2074161 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
