TWO BRIDLINGTON men will appear at Hull Crown Court charged with using a bird scarer banger to endanger life.
Darrin Christopher Edwards, 44, and Lee John Edwin Jones, 35, both of separate addresses in Prickett Road, Bridlington, appeared before Bridlington Magistrates Court last Wednesday.
Mr Edwards and Mr Jones are jointly charged of having an article with intend to destroy or damage property and endanger life.
It relates to the duo having a bird scaring banger and intending without lawful excuse to use it or cause or permit another to use it to damage property in Burstall Walk, Bridlington, on June 21.
The property belonged to Anthony and Rachael Deighton.
Mr Jones is also charged with causing criminal damage to a Citroen Xsara car belonging to Rachael Deighton between April 17 and April 20, and a charge of assault by beating Rachael Deighton between May 31 and June 20.
Neither men offered pleas to the charges.
They will next appear at Bridlington Magistrates Court on August 17 for committal to crown court.
Both were given bail on condition they did not approach within 100 metres of Burstall Walk or have any contact or communication with the complainants.
