A MUSIC festival held at a pub raised hundreds of pounds for a cancer care charity.

Landlord Robert Daykin and landlady Helen Norman at The Telegraph Inn, in Quay Road, Bridlington, held the one-day festival last Sunday at the pub, and raised £600.

Music from Joe Stephenson, Slow
Kommando, Ska Head and a Rolling Stones tribute act, Stikkyfingers, entertained festival-goers, who donated money to Macmillan Cancer Care.

The festival also celebrated the pub’s two year anniversary.

Robert said: “It was absolutely fantastic and we will do it again next year.

“It was just an idea we had to have some bands on outside, it has been a pretty naff summer and it is also our two year anniversary.”

He thanked everyone who donated to Macmillan, and the people who were involved in organising the event.

The money will be collected by the cancer care charity and used towards helping those people living with cancer.
