The Bridlington Real Ale Festival returns to The Spa this weekend with organisers excited after a great response in ticket sales.
The Festival starts on Friday night (13th) at 6pm and then continues on Saturday (14th) from noon to late at night with a wide selection of beers and ciders on offer.
This year saw a unique competition launched in the town to name a beer to be sold at the festival and a winner has been announced.
Festival organiser James Harper said: “The winning name for the beer is ‘Wish you were here’ which we all thought fitted really well with Bridlington.
“The beer itself is light, fruity beer which, in my opinion, would be perfect with a bag of chips at the seaside.”
Live entertainment will also be provided throughout the weekend including local band Capital Eye.
“Tickets are selling fast and people wishing to attend are encouraged to buy in advance otherwise they could be disappointed at the door,” said James.
