Cars damaged in Bridlington

Thousands of pounds worth of damage has been caused to cars in the early hours of Sunday morning in Bridlington.

Officers who were already in the area dealing with a disturbance came across a number of cars parked in a lay-by on Well Lane in Bridlington which had been damaged, with wing mirrors, windscreens and windows smashed.

The damaged cars included; a silver Ford Focus, a red Vauxhall Meriva, red Mazda MX5, a silver Vauxhall Corsa’s, a red Roadster Eunos, a Volvo and a Peugeot 206.

The lay-by is a popular location for people to park up cars in an attempt to sell them.

Through police enquiries it is believed the damage caused to the cars occurred between 00.15am and 00.30am on Sunday November 01, 2015.
