Bridlington Town Council is again on the look out for young artists to produce a design for this year’s Civic Christmas Card.
There are prizes to be won and the winning entry will be printed and used as the Mayor of Bridlington’s official Christmas card.
Councillor Shelagh Finlay, Mayor of Bridlington, said: “This competition has been growing year on year and it is really lovely to see so many young people with artistic talent taking part.”
First prize will win a £50 Argos Voucher, a family ticket to the Pantomime at Bridlington Spa and have their card printed and for the Mayor of Bridlington to send out.
They will also get to meet stars from the Spa’s pantomime Sleeping Beauty at the Christmas Event in the Promenades shopping centre on December 6.
Second prize is £30 in Argos vouchers and third prize also £30 in Argos Vouchers. Prizes have been given by Bridlington Town Council and The Spa Bridlington.
Anyone aged between 5 and 16 years old can enter and should send or take their design together with their name, age and school they are currently attending plus contact details, to the Town Council Office at 62 Quay Road, Bridlington, YO16 4HX by the closing date of Sunday 23 November.
