Driffield’s local Pro Sports Shop is set to go global with the official launch of their new website.

Monday the 6 of October will see a Launch Party at their Market Place shop and the start of a Launch Week Event with 10% off everything in store and online for the whole week.

owner Rob Drury said: “We’ve been spreading the word at the cricket this season with the new Drurysports.com logo on all our shirts. We provide shirts to Driffield Cricket Club, East Yorkshire Junior Cricket and North Yorkshire Schools Cricket Association, so the web address should be familiar to spectators at any of their matches this year.”

“People can visit the site already, but Monday marks the Official Launch Date, so we’ll have a bit of a celebration in the shop with refreshments and balloons and shoppers can start taking advantage of the great Launch Week prices both in the shop and online.”

Regular customers of the Drury Sports shop on Market Place, Driffield, will know that husband and wife team Rob and Anna Drury set the bar pretty high when it comes to quality. Anna said: “Together with our shop floor team of Andrea, Liz and Sharon we provide professional sporting equipment and an attentive, personal service to sporting professionals and serious amateurs. Taking our business online does not mean competing with the bargain sporting goods sites, we’re taking all the experience of Drury Sports on the Driffield High Street and making it available to everyone.” Asked about selling to a worldwide market Anna replied, “Overseas customers are nothing new to Drury Sports, we already do a significant amount of business abroad, but now it’s time to open our doors to serious sportsmen and women everywhere.”

With this in mind Anna enlisted the help of Everything but the Product, the branding and web design agency responsible for creating websites for Little Rascals, another runaway online success for the Driffield High Street. The Drury Sports team worked with them to create a website that was professional and informative and where you could find just what you were looking for quickly and easily.

“That’s the way we do things in the shop, so everything’s geared towards carrying that over to our e-commerce experience.” is how Drurysports.com’s Online Sales Manager, Jess, sees it. “She’s a wonderful addition to the team,” said Anna “and her understanding of the technical aspects of managing the site is as thorough as her grasp of why customer service is such an important part of what we do at Drury’s”.

Rob sums it all up as he explains that, “We sell professional, high quality sporting equipment to people who take their sport seriously and still provide excellent value for money with many items significantly below the manufacturers recommended retail price. Taking that idea online is an exciting new area for us and I can’t wait for Monday”.

Shoppers can visit www.drurysports.com today to find out what the fuss is all about, but don’t forget to come back on Monday to check out their exclusive Launch Week Offers. Shoppers can also visit the bricks and mortar store at 51 Market Place, Driffield where the online deals will also be available in store. Launch Week ends on Saturday 11 of October at 5pm.
