Two fast food giants are coming to the Promenades Shopping Centre for the launch of their new food court.

The food court, which is set to include big names such as fast food giant Burger King, is set to open within the next few weeks.

As well as Burger King, Roosters Southern Fried Chicken will also make up the food court, which will be located at the Promenades Mall entrance.

The food court will be operated by CPL Food Group Ltd, which already manages a network of successful food courts across the country, and will enhance the range of products available in The Promenades Shopping Centre.

The Promenades Shopping Centre Manager Maria Kamper said: “The food court is an exciting new addition to The Promenades Shopping Centre, which will create a significant number of jobs in Bridlington.

“The addition of operators such as Burger King really enhances the mix of operators we have at the centre and we believe it will have a positive effect on footfall and also increase sales at the same time.

“This kind of development is exciting for Bridlington town centre and we are sure that it will be well-received by everyone.” Recruitment for the positions in the food court has already started, with some members of staff already employed. CPL Food Group is still continuing to recruit to fill all positions.

Lamen Reddy, operations director at CPL Food Group, said: “CPL Food Group is delighted to be opening another food court, which is part of our nationwide expansion plan across the UK.

“We believe this food court will give the people of Bridlington a completely new offering which they do not have currently and we know the restaurants will be well received by all.

“The Promenades Shopping Centre is seen as the community hub in Bridlington so it was a perfect location for us to establish a new food court.”
