JIM and Brenda Crow marked a golden occasion when they celebrated 50 happy years of marriage.

The couple, who are both from Bridlington and live on St Anthony Road, married at the Priory on June 3, 1961.

Jim, 74, worked at the Plaxton coach builders in Scarborough up until his retirement, while Brenda, 69, worked at the then Ogsies saw mill on Quay Road, which later changed to Dewhurst.

They enjoy gardening and holidaying in Jersey and Jim is well known in the town’s sporting circles for his current role as secretary of Bridlington Cricket Club.

Jim and Brenda celebrated their special anniversary with family and friends at Bridlington Sports and Community Club.
