Bridlington Spa has secured three big names to be guest speakers at their first Business Day event.
Businesswoman and star of The Apprentice Karren Brady will be joined by comedian and Pointless host Alexander Armstrong and renowned BBC journalist John Simpson.
They will be the keynote speakers in the theatre, will the Royal Hall will be used for business networking.
Andrew Aldis, general manager at Bridlington Spa said: “Being the only venue able to host over 650 delegates for business networking events, Bridlington Spa has created The Business Day as an all-new approach to this format.
“We have avoided the usual need to herd delegates from one item to the next but rather allow them to tailor their personal itinerary to suit themselves.
The Spa has a history of welcoming big-name speakers from its days as one of the hosts of Yorkshire International Business Conference.
Baroness Brady of Knightsbridge is one of the most influential figures in British business.
Once ranked as one of the 50 most inspirational people in the world, she is vice-chairman of West Ham United as well as being a familiar face from her role alongside Sir Alan Sugar in The Apprentice.
Alexander Armstrong will be the host of the proceedings and wil chair a debate looking at local, national and international current affairs.
He has presented more than 1,000 episodes of the quiz show Pointless, but has also released a solo album and is half of the comedy duo Armstrong and Miller.
John Simpson has reported for the BBc from more than 140 countries and is the corporation’s World Affairs editor.
The Business Day takes place on Friday, June 9.
