A new taste of South East Asia has popped up in Bridlington over the past fortnight.
Inspired by his travels in Vietnam, Martin Dench, 40, of Flamborough has opened a pop-up restaurant dedicated to the oriental cuisine.
“I am really passionate about it,” said Martin, who runs the restaurant at his wife’s premises Cafe Revival, in Quay Road.
After working at restaurants both in England and America Martin decided to have a go himself, and offers a five-course taster menu of Vietnamese dishes including traditional Pho, a beef noodle soup and Thit Heo, barbecued locally sourced pork.
He said: “So far the people have really enjoyed it. The food is so fresh and healthy, there is no MSG, there is a lot of rice products and herbs.
“There is something new in Bridlington and why not try it?”
The restaurant runs on select weekends, with the next event planned for Saturday 30 November.
