A team of Brownies have been rewarded with a certificate following their fundraising efforts in helping those victims from the Nepal earthquake.

1st Bempton Brownies took part in a sponsored skip in June and managed to raise a total of £540 for the Nepal Earthquake Appeal. Since then a local charity has recognised the commitment shown by the group of youngsters. The founder member of the Save the Children branch in Beverley, Margaret Law attended the Village Hall to present the Bempton Brownies with a certificate and congratulated them on their hard work for such a worthy cause.
