OVER one hundred pupils attended Bridlington Spa with parents and family as part of Bridlington School’s awards night.
Around 30 youngsters from each year group - from the youngest in the school Year 7, to Year 13 A-Level students - received prizes for achievement, and for effort, in core subjects at the school.
Bridlington School students also received awards for 100 per cent attendance, and for student’s special contributions to their year groups.
Members of Bridlington Rotary Club, the Old Bridlingtonians and the Old Girls Association also handed out bursaries to Year 13 students who will be leaving the school to attend university or begin training courses.
Headteacher at Bridlington School, Sarah Pashley, said: “It was nice to see the Spa packed with the proud faces of our youngsters who have worked very hard to achieve these awards.”
Old Bridlingtonian and author Mike Mortimer presented the awards.
