Bridlington road death cyclist named by police

A BRIDLINGTON cyclist who died in a road collision last week has been named as Joseph Smith.

Mr Smith, 47, died following a road traffic collision on the A52 at Sedgebrook, near Grantham, in Lincolnshire, on Tuesday, November 20.

The incident took place at around 6.15pm, when the bicycle Mr Smith was riding was involved in a collision with a white Peugeot van.

Emergency services attended the scene, but Mr Smith was pronounced dead at the scene a short time later.

Police in Lincolnshire are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the collision to get in touch with them as soon as possible.
