Bridlington man in collision with car

A 67-year-old man needed medical attention after being hit by a car in the Bessingby Industrial Estate.

Police are appealing for witnesses and the driver of a white Vauxhall Astra, after the collision took place at around 2pm on Sunday 9 June outside the Curry’s store.

The driver stopped after the collision, however no injury was stated at the time and no details were exchanged between the driver and pedestrian.

However pain later developed after the collision and he reported the matter to Humberside Police.

The driver came from the McDonalds car park and following the collision drove away from the industrial estate.
