Bridlington Hospital will next Thursday hold its first ever open day and is inviting along members of the public.
On Thursday May 23, between 12pm and 3pm, the event will allow people to find out more about their local health services since becoming part of York NHS Foundation Trust.
Visitors can find out about the role Medicines Management plays in a hospital environment. Yorkshire Ambulance Service will be on hand to talk about their role, and the hospital’s specialist nurses will be sharing information about their services. Advice on NHS careers is also available.
Janet Mountain, Events Manager, said: “We would really like to give people the chance to see more of specific services within the hospital. It’s also a perfect opportunity for the public to see inside their local hospital and learn more about the services available. We are also welcoming anyone interested in a career in the NHS so they can find out more first hand by speaking to our staff.”
