A GROUP of young people will put on a show of legendary fairy tales to showcase their acting abilities.

The group of 27 actors at ReMarkable Kids Theatre, directed by husband and wife team Mark and Rebecca Howley, are putting on a production of A Rather Grimm Fairytale and other legends.

The evening’s entertainment promises an original take on the well-known fairy tales of the Brothers Grimm, and other legends, told with humour, dance routines and chorus numbers.

Mark said: “Rehearsals have been going fabulously and we are really proud of them. It is just great, some of them have been working with me and Rebecca for three or four years.

“They are so excited, really excited to try on the costumes. Since they have been coming they have become such great friends.”

The show will be on from 7.15pm to 9.15pm at St John’s Burlington, St John’s Street, Bridlington. The play runs from Friday 2 November to Saturday 3 November.

Tickets are just £5 each and are available from The Lions Bookshop, 8 Prospect Arcade, Prospect Street, Bridlington, YO15 2AL. For more information call 01262 606716.
