Best ever results for Bridlington dance school

THE Collette Tyler School of Dance has been celebrating its best ever set of results at the UKA Performer of the year competition.

Students from the Bridlington based school produced an outstanding set of results in the contest which was held at Middleton Arena, in Manchester.

During the competition students were taught a routine on the day which they performed before the judges in rounds which accumulated in a final of up to 10 dancers.

Collette told the Free Press that she was especially proud of the dancers as the standards was so high.

The results are as follows:

Ballet: Nine to 10 years, Libby Marshall, fourth; 13 to 14 years, Ruth Parker, sixth; Jade Burley, seventh; Alex Garland, ninth.

Tap: Nine to 10 years, Isabelle Mayger, first; Ellie Crosby, third; Eve Crabtree, sixth; Libby Marshall, eighth; 11 to 12 years, Isabelle Marshall, fourth; Macy Crabtree, eighth; 13 to 14 years, Jade Burley, first; Olivia Branes, second; Ruth Parker, seventh; 15 years and over, Amy Pollard, first; Emily Calvert, fifth.

Modern: Nine to 10 years, Isabelle Mayger, second; Amelia Barnes, fifth; Libby Marshall, seventh; Eve Crabtree, eighth; Ellie Crosby, 10th; 11 to 12 years, Macy Crabtree, eighth; 13 to 14 years, Olivia Barnes, first; Jade Burley, seventh; Alex Garland, ninth; Ruth Parker, 10th; 15 years and over, Emily Calvert, fourth; Amy Pollard, 10th.
