Bempton Lifestylers keep their village tidy

A GROUP of four Bempton Primary School pupils have teamed up to keep their village tidy as part of this year’s Humberside police Lifestyle Challenge.

Pictured are Melissa Shipley, Molly Traves, Briony Hart and Elle Towse who are known as The Red Hot Helpers.

The team has had the support of the East Riding fo Yorkshire Council, who have supplied them with High visiblity jackets and litter pickers, to help them in their aim to keep Bempton tidy.

Over the summer holidays the gorup have brave all weathers to go out into the village collecitng litter.

Their next project will be a garage sale, taking place from 11am to 3pm on Wednesday August 29, on Scarsea Way, in Bempton.

The sale will include toys, books, cakes and refreshments. All proceeds will be donated to the Bempton and Buckton Village Hall Fund.
