Carnaby-based company Bee Health has celebrated a period of dramatic growth by being named as one of the 1,000 Companies to Inspire Britain in a new London Stock Exchange Group report.

The report showcases the UK’s fastest-growing and most dynamic small and medium sized businesses across the UK.

To be included in the list companies need to show consistent revenue growth over a minimum of three years, significantly outperforming their industry peers.

Bee Health produces more than 100 million capsules and tablets a week.

The company has recently doubled the size of its manufacturing site creating more warehousing, a new packing hall and 80 new jobs in the process.

In the last 12 months Bee Health has invested £1.4m in new plant and machinery, including an additional softgel plant, making it the largest food supplement manufacturer in the UK.

Holland & Barrett recently awarded Bee Health ‘Supplier of the Year’ and the company specialises in private label and contract manufacturing for some of the world’s largest retailers.

Managing director Steve Ryan said: “The health supplement market is experiencing a period of significant growth and we have invested in staff and machinery to ensure we are more adaptable to capitalise on this.
