Barn fire in Burton Fleming

A blaze broke out at a barn containing logs in Burton Fleming on Sunday night (April 14).

Two fire engines from Bridlington were called to the scene on Hunmanby Road shortly after 8pm.

Fire fighters spent around 45 minutes tackling the fire using a hose reel, two sets of breathing apparatus and a thermal image camera.

The fire was left to burn out under the supervision of the owners.

A spokesperson for Humberside Fire and Rescue Service said it was believed the fire started accidentally.
