Tesco’s Beverley store was pleased to welcome Councillor Chad Chadwick, Chairman of East Riding of Yorkshire Council, his wife, Councillor Margaret Chadwick and volunteers from ERYC Youth Support Service for a charity in-store bag pack.

Thanks to customers, the event raised a fantastic £355, all of which will go to the Teenage Cancer Trust at Castle Hill Hospital, Cottingham.

Councillor Chad Chadwick said: “On behalf of my charity, Teenage Cancer Trust, Castle Hill, I would like to express my sincere thanks to Tesco Stores, to my helpers from the Youth Support Services, and most importantly, the Tesco customers, for their generosity in donating their hard earned cash to help the unfortunate teenagers who suffer from cancer. I can assure those that give, that the Castle Hill Unit, do everything possible to make the patients’ lives as comfortable as possible, in such a difficult situation.”
