Police are searching for two men who are believed to have robbed an elderly Bridlington woman.

The 82-year-old victim was in the car park of the Bridlington Sports Club, heading to the cut-through from Moorfield Road skate park to the rugby ground, when the incident happened.

At shortly before 4pm on Wednesday, December 2, one of the men pushed the woman to the ground and grabbed her handbag.

However, she refused to let go and he and his accomplice escaped in the direction of Queensgate Way.

The victim suffered facial injuries and was treated by paramedics at the scene.

The man said to have attacked her is said to be white, around 5ft 9in tall, of slender build, aged 15 to 17, with light coloured hair.

He was wearing a grey hooded tracksuit top, dark skinny jeans and white trainers.

The second man was also white, aged in his mid to late 30s, around 5ft 7in tall, of medium to large build and stubbly facial hair.

He wore a black and red tracksuit top, jeans a black beeny hat.
