VISITORS enjoyed a variety of attractions at last weekend’s Burton Agnes Hall summer fete.
Vintage fairground rides, a mysterious magic show, face-painting, a treasure hunt an amazing display from the Park Rose Birds of Prey and activities with the Guide Dogs for the Blind all delighted the crowds.
Anna Briggs of Burton Agnes Hall said that visitor numbers at the event were roughly the same as last year’s fete - but could have been even higher if it wasn’t for the weather on Sunday. “There were lots of families sharing a picnic in the lovely sunny weather on Saturday, so we were very lucky in that respect.
“Sunday wasn’t as nice but everyone who came along enjoyed the attractions, especially the swing boats which are always popular.
“The treasure hunt and all of the stalls were also a big hit.”
