GET ready for another summer of top entertainment as Yorkshire Coast’s Got Talent returns to the Revelstoke Hotel after last summers highly successful event.
Auditions for the competition start on Saturday June 25 with more being held on July 2 and July 9, so if you think you have what it takes to be crowned winner of the competition, then entries must be made as soon as possible, whatever your talent may be. Successful entries will then be placed into the heats which begin in July.
With fantastic prizes of £1,000 for the winner, £500 for the runner up and £250 for third place, is there any excuse not to give it a try?
Sponsors of the event are Lloyd Dowson chartered accountant with support also coming from the Bridlington Free Press. Proceeds from the event will be going towards the Katie Walker Cancer Trust, which last year received a fantastic £3,500 from this event.
Heats will begin once the auditions have been completed on Friday July 15, and will be held weekly, so if you are interested in magicians, jugglers, singers and many more then why not come and enjoy the entertainment. Entry to the heats will cost just £1 on the door.
The competition also now has a dedicated event for under 12s who may wish to enter, with the final being held on the same evening as the adult final, on September 25.
The competition is open to anyone who wishes to join as long as they are amateurs in their talent. There also must be no acts which feature fire or animals due to health and safety reasons.
If you feel you have what it takes to win the competition and take home that amazing prize of £1,000, then either complete a copy of the application form printed here, collect one from the Free Press office on Prospect Street by simply asking at reception, download one from www.revelstokehotel.co.uk, or call into the Revelstoke on Flamborough Road.
Keely Barugh will again be organising and presenting the heats as she did last year whilst the judges will be different every week.
