A WOMAN has been bailed by police investigating reports that inappropriate text messages were sent to a pupil at Headlands School.
The Free Press exclusively revealed that a member of staff at the school had been suspended over the allegations.

But police are also involved and have confirmed a 25-year-old Bridlington woman has been arrested and released on bail until next early month.

The woman, who is believed to work at the school but is not a teacher, has been suspended.

A police spokesman said: "We are aware of allegations and have launched an investigation in conjunction with East Riding of Yorkshire Council."

Enquiries are continuing and the council and police have said they will not be making any more public comment at this time.
