Tom takes the stage at Glastonbury

AMY Winehouse and rap star Jay-Z made the headlines at Glastonbury – but a musician from Bridlington also took to the stage.
Tom Tait perfomed with legendary soul singer Candi Staton on the Jazz World stage at last weekend's festival. Typically, it rained during Tom's time in the spotlight, but he can be seen prominently at the front of the stage on a video on the BBC website.

Tom went to Martongate and Bridlington Schools and was a founder member of the Bridlington Youth Orchestra in the 1990s.

His parenst still live in Bridlington, and dad Robin said: "We are of course really proud of Tom's achievements. I was also his music teacher at Bridlington School and am so doubly proud."
